Delivering Military Electronics Solutions
Artemis Electronics was founded in July of 2005 by Dean Dickinson. Within one year of its inception, Artemis received certification under the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard. The company soon thereafter received certification as a FAA Part-145 Repair Station.
In November of 2009, Dickinson purchased the company’s current facility of more than 28,000 square feet in Prospect, Kentucky. In 2014, a neighboring facility of more than 14,000 square feet was acquired by Dickinson, allowing for more room for growth by Artemis Electronics.
Artemis Electronics is located 13400 W. U.S. Highway 42, STE 180 in Prospect, Kentucky, USA, in the Louisville metropolitan area. This is an ideal location, giving us access to three international airports within a 2-hour drive. In addition, Louisville serves as the home of UPS Worldport, UPS’s international shipping hub. Designed to protect electronics from electrostatic discharge, our facilities include grounded floors, and ESD-protected workstations, benches, humidifiers, ionizers and manufacturing equipment.
The company is currently majority owned by Caryn Dickinson, who has been with the company since 2005 and has served as its CEO since 2019.

In addition to its existing certification as a FAA Repair Station, Artemis Electronics achieved certification under AS9100C + ISO 9001:2008 in December of 2014. As a provider of repair services and build-to-print manufacturing for electronics, Artemis has been very active in its adoption of a counterfeit parts risk control plan, to ensure that its products will not introduce counterfeit parts into the supply chain.
Since the completion of its first year, the company has seen explosive growth in a number of areas. Artemis has seen its sales volume grow by more than 600% and its unique customers grow by 900%. Artemis currently serves customers in eight countries across three continents. The support provided by Artemis to its customers covers a broad range of platforms and systems, both current and legacy. The company recently expanded its product offering to include auxiliary power generator units and components.
Artemis Electronics has provided support as an approved supplier for a number of prime contractors, including Raytheon, BAE Systems, Boeing, AAR, Dynatech, L3, Lockheed Martin, and DRS Technologies. The company has been a recipient of the SECREPS Supplier Excellence award for each of the past three years. In 2021 Artemis received BAE Systems’ Partner2Win Silver Supplier of the Year Award. Additionally, in recognition of its efforts to employ veterans, Artemis received the Gold Medallion award in the U.S. Department of Labor’s HIRE Vets Medallion Program in each of the past two years.
